SAUDI ARABIA - A NATION ON THE RISE
The youth of Saudi Arabia deserve to dream and dream BIG in terms of their future participation in the world of entertainment. In compliance with the national Saudi Vision 2030 transformation, this campaign proposes to start Saudi Sirocco Music and Films divisions of the new Saudi Sirocco Entertainment group. As a result of this campaign, young Saudis, male and female aged 17-25 will be trained in all aspects of entertainment in training academies in the Kingdom and the United States in the near future.
Steve Butler, a native of Los Angeles, CA is the Founder of Saudi Sirocco Entertainment. Butler, a former employee of ARAMCO Dhahran, Saudi Arabia spent several years as a Technical Writer in the Kingdom. He is also an accomplished songwriter and screenplay writer. Saudi Sirocco Entertainment is a proposed project for Saudi Vision 2030. It will be a joint USA - Saudi Arabia venture, with proposed training academies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States.
To develop and promote entertainment opportunities on all levels in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; to foster such opportunities by talented, young Saudi professionals and send the warm, creative wind of Saudi Arabian entertainment around the world.
THE SIX TRAINING DIVISIONS:
Before Saudi Sirocco Entertainment officially launches in 2023, there are six initial training divisions of the entertainment industry young Saudis will be trained in:
1.) Music - Saudi Sirocco Music (record label and music publishing) division. Although Saudi Sirocco Entertainment will not officially launch until 2023, the record label will release music and albums as soon as 2021. Arabic and English music.
2.) Films - Saudi Sirocco Films division. Training in all aspects of film production, including filming, production, screenwriting, acting, post-production, marketing, and distribution. Arabic and English films.
3.) Broadcasting - Kingdom Saudi Sirocco Radio and Cable Television divisions, with proposed stations and networks in Saudi Arabia and North America. The broadcasting networks will also serve as promotional arms regarding updates with Saudi Vision 2030 and tourism and entertainment opportunities in the Kingdom. Arabic and English programming.
4.) Saudi Sirocco e-commerce division (featuring Scoutready.com) the internet's best talent show and Youtube Animation.com, the everything and anything animated website and YouTube channel, Saudi owned; another promotional tool for Saudi Vision 2030 and its entertainment and tourism.
5.) Clothing Line - Saudi Sirocco Sportswear division. Training and production in all aspects of manufacturing and distribution of sportswear line.
6.) Saudi Sirocco Book Publishing division.
Money raised from this crowdfunding will be used to start two segments or divisions of Saudi Sirocco Entertainment immediately - Saudi Sirocco Music and Saudi Sirocco Films. Two albums, one for a female pop artist of Arabic descent (English songs) and one for a male pop artist of Arabic descent (English songs) will go into production within 12 months of the end of this campaign. A full, feature-length Sci-Fi thriller, "HEMOBLAST" will go into production and filming within 18-24 months of the end of this campaign.
HOW THE MONEY RAISED WILL BE USED:
Saudi Arabia is highly driven by the national 2030 Vision plan and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman has been very vocal about a national transformation in many sectors of Saudi life, including entertainment. This venture has an outstanding chance to be reviewed by the Saudi Arabian Government and public investors to gain support and reach its full potential. Contributions toward this campaign will give our team the finances necessary to lay a solid foundation for the genesis of Saudi Sirocco Entertainment.
RISKS AND CHALLENGES
The risks and challenges associated with this venture center around the idea of introducing a more modern or western style of expressing oneself in the arts for Saudi youth. Steeped in a rich, centuries-old culture that is austere and highly censored, Saudi Arabia closely monitors all forms of public communication and entertainment.
However, a new era has dawned in the Kingdom, with leadership and the government willing to at least consider diversifying centuries-old practices and lifestyles by developing the Saudi Vision 2030 plan. A prime example of this change occurred in the fall of 2018 when laws where changed that allowed Saudi Arabian women to drive a vehicle for the first time in the country's history.
Another challenge will be Mr. Butler's ability to recruit a leadership team comprised of both Saudi and American business persons who share his vision and passion for Saudi Sirocco Entertainment.
Training divisions for young Saudis are proposed for the Kingdom and in
Ontario, Calif. USA. The training programs for each of the six divisions
is approximately two years. The training for young Saudis in the six entertainment sectors will begin in 2023. An FM radio station, Kingdom Saudi Sirocco will begin in Los Angeles in 2023. The station will feature Arabic and English programming and will serve as a promotional tool, advertising entertainment events and promotions in the Kingdom for tourists to come and participate.
The e-commerce division of Saudi Sirocco Entertainment will produce two major world-class websites by the year 2021: Scoutready.com and Youtubeanimation.com. Scoutready will feature the world's best online Talent Show, where anyone can post a video in hopes of being discovered.
It will be a Saudi run website featuring talent from around the world.
YouTube Animation.com will feature animated shorts, documentaries any animated video submitted by amateurs from around the world. It will also be a Saudi operated website. Both websites will display advertising promoting upcoming entertainment events in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Sirocco Sportswear is another division that will provide training in clothing manufacturing and distribution. It will evolve into one of the new power sportswear companies in the world, rivaling Nike, Adidas and Under Armour. The Saudi owned line will produce Adult Men's, Adult Woman's, children and infant sportswear. The company will hopefully begin production by the year 2023.
Saudi Sirocco Publishing is the last of the six proposed divisions (training and actual business) of Saudi Sirocco Entertainment. The company will publish writers of books, magazines and other works in both Arabic and English from around the world. Saudi Sirocco Publishing aspires to be a top 10 book publisher by the year 2030.
