Ali Hammoud is a filmmaker, executive producer and artist. Born with the passion for cinema since I was young, I have received my BA in communication arts from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and since 2001, I have been working as a director and editor for TV stations and production houses in Lebanon and abroad as well as documentary films. My short film 'About Those Who Have Gone' have played at a number of festivals, and has coordinated for the award winning interactive web-documentary 'Highrise: Out My Window'. I'm keen for road films and their implications and how individuals adapt into their surroundings. I'm currently working on other projects as well and in my free time I do paintings and assemblage work for future exhibition.
