Ahla Fawda is a Lebanese based non-profit organization established in 2014, run by volunteers who work towards community development. Our mission is to bring joy to communities and improve their immediate environments in a cultural and artistic manner, whilst maintaining an overall "green ethos” – a prime objective. We also provide humanitarian assistance to poverty stricken communities of all creeds in Lebanon. Achievements: - Beautification of Hamra Street, a major commercial and residential Street in Beirut with giant art forms on buildings by young Lebanese artists. - Creation of green spaces. - Painting of signs on pavements for disabled access ramps as part of our awareness campaign for the rights of special needs. - New makeover of the city of Aley with art murals around the city walls, including the major bridge entrance to Aley on Damascus Road. The beginning of The Art Of Change project collaboration between Lebanese artists and International artists based in the UK. - Reviving Aley as a cultural hub and an art touristic destination. - 2018 the second phase of The Art Of Change Project, promoting Lebanese Artists in the UK by painting murals as part of Rise international urban art festival.
