We are the first regional bioethics and medical humanism regional center. We want to make a difference in the way medical care if given to patients from all walks of life, regardless of their religion, background, gender, nationalities, etc.
Medicine is becoming more of a trade than a humane endeavor. Dr. Ghassan Abu-Sitteh is one physician who give medicine its good reputation back. He is a hero in all the meaning of the word. Dr. Abu-Sitteh has been leaving his work and going to Gaza while under fire to treat patients for free. He is relentless in his humanism, care and empathy. We aim at this fund raising campaign to have the first medical humanism and bioethics library named after the humane and morally courageous physician Dr. Ghassan Abu-Sitteh.It is the first public library open to all free of charge available to all who wish to work on the topic of medical humanism and patient-centered care. Your generous donations will be used to purchase IT equipment, references, books and web conferences facilities. To invite renowned international speakers to talk about medical humanism and workshops to train medical students from all over the Arab region and physicians on the importance of patient-centered care, that medicine is not about money. It is a mission and the patient comes first. We will also offer opportunities for medical students to shadow Dr. Abu-Sitteh and myself. We are aiming towards $150.000.Please share this and make a difference.
We will not stop! We will help treat Palestinians fellow humans:
